Abstract

Extract The main theme of all on-the-farm recording and selection programmes is quite similar. The variations on that theme are rather large. For pointing up the principles and practices involved in these programmes, this paper will be restricted primarily to the background for, the procedures used in, and the results coming from the swine and sheep selection programmes in the state of Wisconsin.
