Development of the Autodifferentiation Potencies in the Endoderm of the Chick Embryo

Abstract
The time of appearance of the autodifferentiation potencies of the endoderm revealed in the present study is as follows: stage 4 for the pharyngeal, oesophageal, and small intestinal epithelia; stage 5 for the gizzard epithelium; stage 6 for the thyroid and proventricular epithelia ; and stage 8, 9, and 10 for the large intestinal, hepatic, and dorsal pancreatic epithelia respectively.Keywords
