Abstract
Special attention is paid to the spectral shifts observed when O2 is replaced by S or Se in compounds of the above-mentioned type. Uracil, 2-thiouracil, 4-thiouracil and 2,4-dithiouracil are examined by the Huckel MO[long dash]LCAO method, which gives account of the spectral peculiarities in a semi-quantitative manner.This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
