Abstract
The dissociative recombination H3O++ e→neutral products, has been studied in H2+ O2+ N2+ C2H2 flames by means of a probe calibrated through a confirmed procedure based upon alkali metal ionization. Its rate coefficient was determined in the temperature range 2020-2520 K to be 0.076 ± 0.020 × T–1.6 ± 0.3 ml molecule–1 s–1.
