Further Observations on the Experimental Host-Parasite Relations of the Guinea Pig and the Ruminant Parasite, Trichostrongylus colubriformis

Abstract

The susceptibility of the guinea pig to infection with T. colubriformis was found to be highly variable. Sex and age of the host apparently had little or no effect on this susceptibility. Lethal infections resulted from administration of from 4150 to 10,000 infective larvae.
