Abstract
Drying is a highly energy-intensive process. The total cost of drying is largely determined by the cost of energy and can be minimized by the application of a maw? urn heating technique. Drying is also a physically complicated process. Computer modelling of drying processes is used to optimize drying. In this paper a computer model is presented for describing combined dielectric and convective drying processes. Several examples of calculation results will be given. Keywords
