Abstract
Summary Actinomycm D inhibits the hy-percalcemia induced by large doses of parathyroid extract or Vit. D. It also alters the bone changes induced by these agents. The data thus indicate that these agents may act by inducing synthesis of new enzymes in bone induced by DNA directed RNA which in turn enzymatically degrade bone. Keywords
