Thermal-conductivity enhancement near the liquid-vapor critical line of binary methane-ethane mixtures

Abstract
Measurements of the thermal conductivity of mixtures of methane and ethane reveal an enhancement in the mixture critical region apparently contradicting theoretical predictions. The anomaly is similar in size and temperature dependence to that found for pure fluids.Keywords
