A formal solution of a set of triple integral equations originally considered by Tranter is given. The solution is found in terms of a function which is determined by means of a Fredholm integral equation of the first kind. Application is made to the case of an electrified disc with a hole in it and numerical results for the capacity of the disk are compared with results obtained by Smythe by an approximate method.
