Abstract
An adaptive control algorithm for tracking unstable periodic orbits is presented. Automatic tracking is made possible by incorporating a stability-analysis subroutine into a map-based control scheme. The method is used to track unstable orbits in the Belousov-Zhabotinsky reaction. Keywords
