Abstract
Using a mode matching technique, a modular microwave equivalent circuit incorporating both guided and continuum spectra has been developed to model integrated optoelectronic components accurately with limited computational effort. The analysis is verified with experiments on GaAs rib waveguides and directional and three guide couplers.Keywords
