Excitons in Mott-Hubbard Insulators

Abstract
Intrinsic broadening of the exciton linewidth in a Mott-Hubbard insulator is predicted, within an idealized model, as a result of restrictions on the migration of -state holes via electron exchange. This broadening should decrease above the Néel point.
