A Method for Double-Contrast Stereoscopic Study of the Internal Anatomy of the Heart

Abstract

A method for double-contrast stereoscopic radiography of the internal cardiac anatomy has been developed. The method of distention, fixation, and contrast application together with illustrations of resulting radiographs is presented. Correlation of in vivo angiocardiograms with subsequent in vitro preparations of this type is expected to be valuable.
