Abstract
Descrip-tions, measurements and photos of various stages in the life cycle of P. gyrosum are based on phase, dark-field and light-field, normal-speed and time-lapse cinephotomicrography. The phenomena described include spore-wall structure, spore-germination, cell division, plasmogamy and karyogamy, plasmodium formation, synchronous mitoses, and sporulation. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
