Abstract
An Anger-type .gamma.-camera can be considered as a linear filter. The image is therefore the convolution of the object by the camera point spread function. An important property of the objects is the fact that they are basically positive (count-rates as a function of space variables). The proposed deconvolution method (due to Biraud) works satisfactorily on a 1-D [dimensional] scintigraphic signal which is a particular cross-section of a 2-D image. This is a preliminary study of the enhancement of real scintigraphic images. Keywords
