Abstract
As part of our instrument development work for the U.S. Air Force Advanced Electron Optical System (AEOS) telescope to be built on Haleakala, Maui, the Institute for Astronomy is contracting with the Santa Barbara Research Center (SBRC) for the development of a 1024 X 1024 InSb detector array with 30 micrometers pixels optimized for groundbased astronomical applications. The device design is based on the successful 256 X 256 InSb devices currently produced by SBRC.© (1993) COPYRIGHT SPIE--The International Society for Optical Engineering.
