A review of 400 consecutive cervical conizations over a four-year period at the Naval Hospital, Jacksonville, Florida, is presented. The technic, indications, morbidity and pathologic findings are reviewed. The overall incidence of ncoplasia was 69.2%, with severe dysplasia-carcinoma in 49.2%. The morbidity was 11%. The nonsuture technic using a neosynephrne injection procedure for hemostasis is discussed and recommended.
