Abstract
Measurements have been made of the reflectivity of solid solutions of ZnxHg1-xTe in the spectral range 2200-6500 Å. Reflection peaks appeared for almost the whole domain of solubility. The various peaks are ascribed to transitions at particular points in the Brillouin zone. A band structure model for ZnxHg1-xTe alloys is proposed. Keywords
