Abstract
The administration of glucose and insulin to 6 normal individuals, 1 diabetic patient and 1 patient with general paresis resulted in a prompt fall of P as shown formerly by Benedict and Harrop. There was a definite tendency for the total serum Ca to rise. The first rise in Ca was usually observed in the same hour as the first fall in P[long dash]the changes were approximately synchronous. Both the P and Ca effects had usually disappeared after 4 hrs. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
