Abstract
For what conditions is hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) treatment known to be effective? When is such treatment considered experimental? What are the dangers associated with use of oxygen under high pressure? Dr Myers and Ms Schnitzer examine these questions and discuss the rationale for HBO use in several conditions. They also provide a list of active HBO chambers in the United States and Canada. Keywords
