Abstract
The risk of combustion of endotracheal tubes during laser surgery of the larynx has been demonstrated. A new flexible metal endotracheal tube has been developed to obviate this risk. The laser beam is dispersed by the construction of the metal tube, thus assuring protection from both combustion and reflection. Keywords
