Abstract
Crossing strains carrying visible markers ro, ge and bwb on the 3rd chromosome and a wild strain of M. domestica, the lactate dehydrogenase-B locus [Ldh-B] was determined through recombination frequency. MW of the enzyme was determined through electrophoresis and Sephadex column chromatography to be 150,000-160,000. The Ldh-B locus was found to be closely linked to the ge locus on the 3rd chromosome. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
