Procedures for the control of miniature ceramic ultrasonic element production

Abstract

A procedure is described for cutting submillimetre diameter discs of ceramic, for handling them and for assessing the area of the disc and its electrical contacts. Results are presented indicating excellent circularity and typically less than 5% variation in area in a batch of 10.
