A Catalogue of Linear Polarization Measurements for 5070 Stars

Abstract

Measurements of the linear polarization of starlight have been collated and a catalogue is presented which lists the Stokes parameters of linear polarization only for those stars with reliable distances. The catalogue is presented in the form of vector maps on the sky in several distance intervals. A computer coding of the catalogue is available from the authors on request.
