Conversion of C14-Arterenol to Epinephrine in vivo.

Abstract
Summary C14-epinephrine has been found in the adrenal glands of rats administered α-C14-arterenol intraperitoneally. Its presence has been demonstrated by paper chroma-tography and by isotope dilution using a new method, involving reaction with pyridoxal-5-phosphate, for separating these catechol-amines.
