Abstract
The adrenalectomized rat as compared to controls lost more carbohydrate in the early hours of fasting, stored less glycogen when intraven. injected with glucose or glucose and insulin, and had a normal intraven. glucose tolerance. Adrenalectomy apparently results in an increased tendency to oxidize carbohydrate. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
