Abstract
Bond's method of using the impact of two liquid jets for the determination of surface tensions is applied to mercury. The mercury is circulated, and a device for the continuous measurement of the rate of flow of the liquid is described. A method for determining the momentum of the jet is developed, from which the radius of the jet is deduced. Keywords
