First-Order Wave Equations for Half-Odd-Integral Spin

Abstract

A method is described for finding first-order wave equations without subsidiary conditions for particles of half-odd-integral spin and nonzero mass. The method is illustrated in the cases of spins ½, $\frac{3}{2}$, and $\frac{5}{2}$.
