Abstract
We report the first observation of a dynamical central peak in the light‐scattering spectrum of a glass (Schott LaSF‐7). After an iodine‐vapor filter had removed the elastically scattered component, the spectrum of the light scattered by the glass still exhibited a component centered between the two Brillouin lines. Keywords
