Isolation of l-2-(1-methylcyclopropyl)glycine from Micromonospora miyakonensis sp. nov. II. Isolation and characterization.

Abstract
A novel amino acid, L-2-(1-methylcyclopropyl)glycine was isolated from the culture broth of M. miyakonensis. This amino acid exhibits an antimicrobial activity against Escherichia coli on a synthetic medium.
