Abstract
The past decade has seen a dramatic increase in the number of approaches available for the study of hepadnavirus and hepatitis delta virus infections. In this review, we have summarized the recent applications of these approaches to the study of virus replication, tissue specificity, liver injury and hepatocellular carcinogenesis. Keywords
