Abstract
A direct writing colorimeter (NEP Norman) has been tested. The apparatus required modification and was then used in model studies with plasma-water-solutions and whole blood. A good linearity was obtained in the experiments with plasma-water-solution, but not in experiments with whole blood. Mechanical flow was also determined to ascertain the accuracy of the apparatus. There was no significant difference between the mechanically and colorimetric determined flow. Keywords
