Abstract
Metallic targets of enriched and were bombarded with 14.8-Mev deuterons. The outgoing particles were magnetically analyzed and detected in nuclear emulsions or scintillation counters. Angular distributions for the following reactions were measured: 4.6 and 7.46 Mev. 2.28 Mev, 3.57 Mev, 2.19 Mev, ground state, and . A search was made for other levels produced in these reactions and in the reaction. No new levels were observed; upper limits on the cross sections of unobserved levels are given. The results of the (), (), and (, ) reactions were compared with stripping theory and with the predictions of the shell model. The agreement is, in general, satisfactory.
