Abstract
Methyl parathion applied topically was much more toxic to adult Anthonomus grandis Grandis Boheman than NRDC-161 (S)-[cyano(3-phenoxyphenyl)methyl] cis-(+)-3-(2,2-dibromoethenyl)-2,2-dimethylcyclopropanecarboxylate), but NRDC-161 was more toxic to immature stages in laboratory media. NRDC-161 reduced fecundity of females, was repellent, and toxic to eggs at 0.01 ppm.
