Abstract
Chlorophyllase obtained by extractions of leaves of Heracleum spondylium and also of Datura stramonium was used in prepn. of methyl ester of phaeophorbid a and phaeophorbid b. Introduction of Mg into several esters was not accomplished. Chlorophyllase did not esterify hemin.
