Abstract
Six patients, aged 16-57, suffering from Klinefelter''s syndrome, were examined psychiatrically. They were all referred to treatment because of somatic, not mental, disturbances. The diagnosis of the syndrome was varified by testis biopsies and hormone analyses. All 6 patients had mental disorders, but they were not psychotic. The psychic symptoms observed seemed to belong to the "unspecific endocrine psychosyndrome" of Bleuler.
