Observations nouvelles sur les algues et les stromatolithes du Cambrien de Carteret (Manche)

Abstract

Algae whose microstructures are preserved occur in Cambrian limestones of the Carteret region, France. Some, such as species belonging to Girvanella, occur in different kinds of limestones; others, including Nephelostroma lecomptei n.g. n.sp. and Epiphyton fasciculatum, have constructed stromatolitic beds. Systematic descriptions are given.
