Abstract
Both sexes undergo definite and similar physiological changes during the breeding season. Testosterone propionate produced the same changes in immature herons and in gonadectomized adults, while estrogens had no effect. Testosterone propionate also induced [male] sexual behavior in adult [female][female] and in immature birds of both sexes. This publication has 14 references indexed in Scilit:
