Abstract
The esophagus was dilated in 39 subjects, the stomach in 16, the duodenum in 12 and the colon in 11. Indefinitely characterized pain was produced, in the main apparently referred to seg-mental areas via the sympathetic, although in some cases nausea, vomiting and remote pain as in the head or face probably represented vagal reflexes. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
