This paper compares a majority of the clinical classifications of psychotropic drugs. It attempts to trace the origin of over 25 frequent terms in the field of psychopharmacology and the concepts which probably underly the coining of these terms. Beyond the labyrinth of terminology and classifications emerges the lack of information, competence and modesty of too many contributors. Der vorliegende Bericht vergleicht die meisten klinischen Klassifikationen von psychotropen Drogen. Dabei wird versucht die Herkunft von über 25 geläufigen Termini in dem Gebiet der Psychopharmakologie aufzudecken und mit den eventuell zugrundeliegenden Konzepten in Verbindung zu setzen. Hinter diesem Labyrinth von Terminologie und Klassifikationen taucht ein Mangel an Information, Kompetenz und Bescheidenheit zu vieler Verfasser auf.
