Abstract
A multidimensional diffusional approach is proposed to describe rotational diffusion or conformational transitions in molecular systems in the presence of coupling with polar solvent coordinates. The model is applied to interpret dielectric friction effects and Twisted Intramolecular Charge Transfer (TICT) kinetics. Full numerical solutions are compared with those obtained by approximate procedures. Keywords
