Abstract
An emulsion study has been made of -nucleon interactions at a pion energy of 4.5 Bev. The percentage of elastic scattering at this energy seems slightly smaller than at energies slightly above 1.0 Bev. One can deduce from this that the range of interaction between and proton is greater than 1.0× cm.
