Abstract
A study has been made of the pressure in 90 renal cysts from 14 patients with multiple congenital cysts, and 6 patients with solitary cysts. The pressure measured on the prone subject and referred to the level of the puncture site in the skin was, on an average, 16 (8–35), respectively 11 (-1–32) mm Hg. There was a statistically significant positive correlation between cystic pressure and creatinine concentration in serum of patients with multiple cysts. The variations in cystic pressure were considerable. Keywords
