Abstract
A model the magnetic fields in turbo- generators with either symmetrical or asymmetrical rotor has been developed, and mathematically described and solutions obtained using the digital computer. The model was developed specifically for use in the design stage. It is applied to the entire cross-section of the generator and is applicable to a wide range of machine geometries. Keywords
