Abstract
Hook‐like osteophytic projections of the radial side of the distal head of the metacarpals are recorded in 7 per cent of 100 cases of Osteoarthritis. The development of such hooks is probably a response to articular cartilage degeneration and joint stress in the older age group. These hooks should not be confused with those of Jaccoud's disease. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
