Abstract
The purpose of this note is to discuss the results to be expected from attempts to observe cyclotron resonance in metals. A brief summary is first given of the simple theory for a free-electron model, assuming the classical skin-effect equations to hold. Theoretical results are then given for a free-electron model under anomalous skin effect conditions, and a qualitative discussion is given of the results to be expected for a real metal under these conditions. Keywords
