Abstract

Two homologues of spermidine, N-(3-aminopropyl)-1,3-diaminopropane (1) and N-(4-amino-butyl)-1,4-diaminobutane (2), were identified in Scenedesmus acutus 276-3a. For identification, extracts of algae were trifluoroacetylated and investigated by combined gas chromatography/mass spectrometry.
