Surgical and Dental-Orthopaedic Correction of Horizontal and Vertical Malocclusions

Abstract
A short review is given of a clinical material of 317 cases of horizontal and vertical jaw deformities, corrected by surgery and dental-orthopaedics. The importance of a careful analysis of every case by means of standardized profile radiographs to determine the type and degree of deformity prior to treatment is stressed and a brief report is given of various therapeutic measures. Parts of the material will be presented in separate studies in a near future with a description of the therapeutic details and the end results.
