Abstract
A female infant, born to a 21 yr old mother with systemic lupus erythematosus, had cutaneous discoid lupus at birth. The lesions resolved spontaneously over the first few months and by the age of 1 yr the infant''s skin was normal. Other possible complications of this maternal disease are discussed and the need for caution in counseling mothers is recommended. This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
