Abstract
In recent years, the beta-lactams importance has been increased, specially for their antibiotical and chemical properties,1–3 and for their use as synthetic intermediates4,5. Several methods are available for the synthesis of beta-lactams3,6–11. The most frequently used methods include the annelation of imines with activated substituted acetic acids as available starting materials6,8.Keywords
